G&G is part of the team selected to design and build a new 30,000 sqare foot multi-story,apartment style facility for homeless veterans in Tuscaloosa, AL.  You can read more about the projet here. 

The G&G Team worked with the Alabama chapter of IIDA to volunteer their time and services to constructing a home for Habitat for Humanity. The entire G&G Team spent a Saturday painting, patching, and running siding to help this local family achieve their dream of home ownership. Thanks to all involved in making this happen. 

G&G was selected as the design firm to help achieve Green Space Project certification for a Birmingham area home. Through careful study and selection the home achieved the Blue Diamond certification. The second highest available from the Green Space Project. The certification is similar to LEED but encompasses more real world solutions in its goals.

G&G has been selected to be the interior project manager for a residence being constructed in the Birmingham Alabama area. The residence is a multi story 12,000 square foot home that will feature two full kitchens, a multipurpose gathering area, and other unique architectural and design elements as well as a full metal roof system.

G&G Interior Design is proud to now be Green space Project Certified Professional. Green Space Project is an environmentally responsible building rating system that encourages and rewards eco friendly design and sustainable building practices much like the LEED program.

G&G completed installation for University Crossings and all 96 beds are ready for move in. With furnishings that are custom designed for the project, University Crossings is the premiere student housing complex in the Columbus Georgia area. The installation was a huge success over a three day period. G&G and 4226 University Crossing (the owner) tried to give back to the community by hiring local labor. We utilized students from Columbus State University and others from the community who had been affected by the slowing economy.

G&G has been contracted by 4226 University LLC to provide interior design services for their new 48 unit off campus student apartment project. G&G has also been engaged to provide complete project management for the furnishings of the complex from acquisition to installation. This is the first of three phases for the development and we are proud to be selected by one of the premier developers in Georgia.
